PH logs lowest number of new cases in over 5 months | New Day

The fight against COVID-19 maybe far from over, but we're seeing some small wins these past few days. The country is seeing the lowest number of COVID cases in over 5 months. The last time new cases were at this level was last May 23. But positive cases still account for 7.5% of all people tested for COVID-19. The World Health Organization says a positivity rate of 5% and below indicates controlled transmission of the virus.
